About IPRO 344, Spring 2009
This semester, IPRO 344 is continuing a project that was started 3 semesters ago. What started out as research into mobile amplifiers has evolved into this semester's project: collecting data and improving upon a 2-way intercom system that utilizes class D amplifiers. Last semester a prototype of a drive-thru system was successfully developed. This semester we hope to analyze the quality of this system, and make improvements that will be beneficial to the project as a whole.

The Kiosk
This semester it was decided that we would build a new kiosk to improve upon the old design. One of the main issues that was encountered with the old kiosk was problems accessing the components inside. In order to fix that problem, we decided to have the back panel of the new kiosk fully removeable so that the components could be easily taken out, worked on, or replaced. We also took this opportunity to try and build a kiosk that more accurately represents the types of kiosk that are in use today.
