Kiosk
This year the IPRO 344 team decided to build a new kiosk. There were several reasons we chose to do so. Some of the main reasons include the following:
- Create ease of access for components
- Create more space for future component addition
- Create a more accurate portrayal of a typical kiosk
By creating ease of access to the components, those who work on this project in the future won't have to worry so much about the kiosk, and will be able to focus their time and energy on testing. It was also designed so that there will be space left over for future component addition. This will allow future teams to add circuitry to the system without having to do a full redesign of the kiosk.
By making the design of the kiosk more accurate to what is already in use today, we hope that our results will be more accurate and provide better evidence for what can be done to improve intelligibility of signals. Without an accurate portrayal, our results might be skewed by the physical limitations of the kiosk.
