	Solaris Lab is situated in SH 310A.
	Solaris Lab consists of 26 Sun Blade 1500 workstations, 1 Sun Blade 100 workstations, 1 windows workstation and 1 printer.
	Mixed environment of Solaris 8 and Solaris 10 is installed.
	Software Available in the Solaris Lab are:

	Synopsys
	Magic
	Latex
	Matlab
	Abaqus
	Star Office
	Sun Studio
	cc, gcc, perl, java, fortran, Emacs, Ghostscript/Ghostview,
	Adobe Acrobat Reader, python, netscape, mozilla, mpich............
	Each Student is provided with individual login and quota size of 50MB.
	Centralized access to all Applications for all workstations.
	Centralized Administration of all User Account Information, Host Information, Workstation Security Logs and Network Time Synchronization for all workstations.
	Centralized Administration of Print Queue.
