[ece429] a couple questions

I had this problem on vulcan last semester..  This should work:

dwolkenf at vulcan:> keylogin
Enter your current password:
 
dwolkenf at vulcan:> passwd
Enter current password:
New Password:
Reenter new password:

Can't help with your other question.
